Dr. Mohammad Pashmforoush, MD, PhD Cardiac Electrophysiologist
Dr. Mohammad Pashmforoush is a highly experienced cardiac electrophysiologist with an extensive background in diagnosing and treating complex heart rhythm disorders. He completed his medical training at The University of Chicago, followed by an internal medicine residency at the University of Washington. Dr. Pashmforoush went on to specialize in cardiology at the University of California, San Diego, and advanced electrophysiology at the University of California, San Francisco.
With board certifications in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Internal Medicine, Dr. Pashmforoush is committed to providing cutting-edge treatments, such as radiofrequency ablation, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, and advanced rhythm management. His compassionate approach ensures that patients feel supported and informed throughout their treatment journey.

Dr. Aaron Yung, MD Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Aaron Yung is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with a passion for providing innovative, minimally invasive treatments for heart disease. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Yung further specialized in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology through fellowships at Cedars-Sinai, where he gained advanced expertise in procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and transcatheter valve repair (TAVR).
Dr. Yung is dedicated to offering patient-centered care and is known for his warm and approachable demeanor. He takes the time to listen to his patients’ concerns, ensuring they feel confident and comfortable every step of the way.

Dr Abhinav Sharma, MD, FACC Advanced Cardiac Imaging and Non-invasive Cardiologist
Dr. Abhinav Sharma is a board-certified cardiologist and the newest member of our team. He possesses extensive expertise in cardiac imaging and brings the most cutting-edge cardiovascular diagnostic testing to the north San Diego region.
Dr. Sharma’s training includes a two-year Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, consistently ranked as the #1 cardiology program in the United States. Dr. Sharma’s specialized skills include echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI, allowing for precise diagnosis and tailored treatment plans of all forms of heart disease. His clinical areas of expertise include hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and cardiac amyloidosis, coronary artery disease, and valvular heart disease. In his most recent role, he served as the director of the cardiac CT and the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy programs at the Medical College of Wisconsin and was a core member of the structural heart imaging team.
With a focus on patient-centered care, Dr. Sharma believes in an individualized approach to cardiovascular health.
